The book is a collection of poems from the Author's teenage and early adulthood. Growing up with depression took most of her chance at life. This book is a glimpse and First of the many yet to come. The author writes on various themes of life but this book is an introduction to the most overlooked part of life, the struggle for agency. Romantic relationships serve as the perfect conduit for healing wounds deeply embedded in psyche, formed during formative years. She deliberately used ambiguity as a tool for discovery, how each romantic wound stemmed from a parent wound. Some are pure heartbreak reflections, while others a fight for agency after spontaneous emotional upwelling.
