A chaaragar is a healer, the one we turn to for a cure. These poems come from a doctor who has always tried to keep his poetry apart from his profession. Chaaragar gathers twenty-one ghazals, four nazms, three qitas and seven single shers on love and separation, longing and memory, and the world around them. Written in Roman-script Hindustani, these poems are meant to be heard as much as read.
