Both Are True is an intimate collection of poetry exploring the contradictions of a life fully lived—the laughter and the hurt, grief and joy, shame and freedom.
Through girlhood, womanhood, loss, desire, and becoming, these poems trace one woman’s journey toward embracing every version of herself.
There is creek water here. Mud and wildflowers. Blood and birth. Church pews and open fields.
The sorrow was real.
So was the joy.
Both are true.
