Sugar & Spice .....and other sweet lies is a collection of poems that sift through the dust and tradition to question the saccharine myths we've been fed - about womanhood, duty and the domestic sphere. The poems challenge the notion that household chores are a natural extension of femininity, exposing the lie in the rhyme from which this title is inspired.
