This is a collection of romance poetry. Love sits at the centre of it, but so do fear, yearning, memory, distance, tenderness, and all the things we rarely know how to name while we are living them. Most of these poems first existed as stories in my head. I carried them around for a while, changed them, remembered them, and eventually tried to give them a form on paper. This book is my attempt to turn those stories into poetry.
