The Little Things

We grow up thinking that life is supposed to be about extraordinary things. Big achievements. Big moments. Big celebrations. Big changes. We wait for something significant to happen before we allow ourselves to call a day special. We spend so much time waiting for the extraordinary that we forget how much of our life is already happening in the ordinary. It happens in the little things. Things we barely notice while they’re happening but somehow miss when they’re gone. So, maybe the little things are never really little. Maybe they are the things that make life feel like life all along.
