WAVES OF GRASS

Waves of grass is a wish made while Raiden Wright was fighting for his life. Accepting death, he asked that if an afterlife existed could he exist in an endless field of tall grass that moved like an ocean. After recovery Wright begin to pen his emotions releasing the past and moving into a new future. Waves of Grass speaks of the African American experience in urban America, blends the hopelessness of longing with a spark of continuing.
