Into the Unknown

When Neo first meets the Oracle in The Matrix, the inscription above the doorway says it all - Temet Nosce - Know Thyself. Knowing oneself, I believe, is the first step toward understanding and serving our purpose. And self-discovery begins when you accept your good, bad, and ugly parts with equanimity - without judgment. We proudly own our Shades, the bright dimensions of our being. But our dark Shadows, we disown. Sometimes, the reverse is true. Into the Unknown - Owning the Shades and Shadows is my journey toward self-awareness, told through poems.
