There's Still Evidence of Us

Poems from my broken heart, bound to find yours in this sea of loss. We are all connected, in a club no one wants to be a part of, along the same path. A spiral leading inward. The never ending spiral of life. Grief is the strangest thing I've ever had to experience. It's nearly impossible to understand until you experience it and even then it often fails to make any sense. The only sense I have been able to make of it is that grief really is love maybe in its most raw form. Raw and violent and unmanageable. It is the most painful thing I've ever had to navigate and it is also probably the most beautiful, though tragic, part of life. I would give anything to have my sister back...
