Rules and Other Weather is a collection of twenty-four poems about systems: the ones people inherit, the ones they build, and the ones they learn to live inside. Moving through fictional lives, ordinary realities, and imagined landscapes, these poems pay attention to what often goes unnoticed, a habit formed, a silence left undisturbed, a rule followed without question. More concerned with atmosphere than events, the collection explores what is permitted, what is endured, and what quietly shapes life in the background.
