My first collection of poems, "Secrets of a Broken Heart" revolved around heartbreak. This second book is more focused on the aftermath; the raw and painful healing process from mental and emotional scars left behind and trauma. The daily struggle to overcome my survival instinct to suppress feelings of being invisible, insignificant, and forgotten. To be seen and heard.
