ONLY AN ILLUSION

Some homes hold laughter. Some homes hold ghosts. And some, like mine, held everything until time, blood, and betrayal emptied the rooms. Only an Illusion is a soul-baring journey through the fragile bonds of family, the quiet sacrifices of women, and the shattering of the myths we are raised to believe in. Through raw poetry, this book speaks to anyone who has ever watched their home become a stranger. In these poems I face the ghosts of love, family and time and in the ruins of what was once sacred, it searches for the only home that will never leave- the one we build within ourselves.
