The Paradoxical Contain(H)er is a collection of poems and songs from the trenches of a survivor's soul, from the grimy mines of a woman's over-excavated heart. It is a million voices of anger and sorrow, and a million reasons to scream, shout, cry, fight, never give up or give in for there is indeed light at the end of the proverbial many tunnels of life. These 21 poems trace an arc of rage, rebellion, and grief reaching a peak, and then slowly decompressing in love, in pride, in acceptance and belonging.
