but, should we actually? honestly, probably not. i don't know a world where i wish that i had not had that one conversation or sat and talked for hours. i don’t want to know the world where i did not get to hold my little brother’s hand while he cried over something that could seem small to me, but meant the world to him. and, in life, there’s few things sweeter than hearing the sound of a loved one’s voice. and when moments become memories, and strangers become friends, or friends become family, that’s what matters. and if it’s worth figuring out, (which it usually is) then i never want to leave a single “i love you” left unsaid. so no, please don’t hang up. stay. i say, let’s talk, please?
