This collection of poems emerged from a period of intense transformation in the poet’s life, and reflect this as they shape-shift from the fantastical to the playful to the melancholic to the mundane. They represent the creative act of pulling many selves together and examining them with unflinching honesty, while conjuring ancestral spirits, artists, beloveds, ancient gods, flights of fancy and an abiding connection to the natural world, to aid them along the way.
