Domestic Damsel

This anthology of poems explores the identity of a housewife. As simple as a domestic life may seem, it is a continuous effort where one's individuality sometimes gets absorbed and defined by the different roles we play in the lives of the people we love. A happily ever after is never the end of the story; it marks the beginning of the things we build and break along the way. The flow of these poems traces the journey of growth touching on certain elements of mundanity, internal struggles of conforming to gender stereotypes and the need to be seen.
