The title Almost 22, with its subtitle Longing for More, reflects a paradox I’ve come to know intimately. While my life may seem full of happiness and good moments, as others often view it, I have always found myself yearning for more. In these 21 poems, I explore the difficult times I’ve faced, but the core message isn’t about sadness—it’s about the constant human desire for more, even when we already have so much. We always want something more, something different, and that longing persists no matter how much we have.No matter how much we have, there is always an ache for more. A longing for what could be, what we don't yet have, what we think will complete us.
