A diverse and unique collection of poetry from the author of 2022’s Love & Lexapro. An exploration of what it can feel like to love and be loved by a person who is easily bruised. Some people wear their hearts on their sleeves despite bruising like a peach - this author is one of them. Sensitivity is not inherently a weakness; you can spend your 15 minute paid break sobbing and hyperventilating in the walk-in freezer, but you still show up for your coworkers and pull off your shift like nothing happened. The strongest people I know are willing to feel their feelings in their entirety.
