I didn’t write this for the world I wrote it for one person who might never see it.
Still, a part of me hopes he stumbles upon it one day and recognizes himself between the lines Every poem is a half-kept promise, every word a what - if I never outgrew.
Maybe it’s foolish, or maybe it’s faith either way, I wrote it just in case.
