Description of the Book:
This poetry collection flows through various themes, conflicts of the author's mind and some monologues that were easily derived as the discourse begins within those conflicts.
Some poems highlight the monsoons, a love that never was, overcoming or trying to overcome one's fear and realizing patterns of our minds.
This is the third poetry collection by the author, not because the previous two were such smashing hits, but because she or rather me, needed to do this for myself.
The poems narrate stories, risks not taken, love for the monsoons, trying your hands at love and failing miserably because of unhelpful patterns of the past continue to make an appearance and the consequences and loss of relationships that inevitably follows through.
I write poems in an attempt to give voice to my feelings and I will, for a long time consider myself an amateur, one who blunders, bellyaches about those blunders and a lot of time, fails to learn from those blunders, but eventually will move on in pursuit of being better.
Ramblings of a "Self-Aware" Being
Author's Name: Sanjana Parekh (Nera)
About the Author: The author, meaning me, is a dreamer, a lover of reading romance but maintaining a cynical state of mind in reality and is looking forward to getting to know her own craft as she creates more of it. She is someone who wants to do what she loves, in life and otherwise, whatever that otherwise is! A proud Mumbaikar and since a lot of the poems in this book are written during the monsoon season in India, Mumbai monsoons are also a theme here. Book ISBN: 9789363309722
